Cookie policy
Updated: 16 October 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They can remember preferences or collect information about how the site is used.
2. Cookies and storage used by this website
Our website is custom-built and uses a limited number of storage tools. We save your cookie preference in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). Analytics cookies are loaded only with your consent and only if the analytics service is configured.
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Storage period |
|---|---|---|
| mcg-cookie-consent (localStorage) | Essential — saves your cookie preference in browser local storage rather than in a separate cookie. | Until you change your preference or clear browser storage |
| _ga | Analytics (Google Analytics) — distinguishes individual visitors. | Up to 2 years by default |
| _ga_[container ID] | Analytics (Google Analytics) — maintains session state. | Up to 2 years by default |
| Map cookies (Google Maps, contact page) | Third party (Google) — supports the embedded map. | According to Google’s settings |
3. How we obtain consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. Google Analytics cookies are loaded only after you actively click "Accept all"; they are not set beforehand.
4. Changing your preference
You can change your preference at any time using the button below. You can also manage or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Restricting essential storage may affect some website features.
5. Your rights
Where the use of cookies involves processing personal data, you have the rights described in our Privacy policy — including access, rectification and erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability, as well as the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.
